About the Journal

An-Nahdlah: Journal of Thought and Research ISNU Cimahi is a peer-reviewed scientific journal managed by the Nahdlatul Ulama Scholars Association (ISNU) of Cimahi City. As a multidisciplinary intellectual platform, this journal is dedicated to providing a dialectical space for scholars, academics, and practitioners to respond to social dynamics from various scientific perspectives.

Focus and Scope

This journal accepts articles resulting from research and in-depth theoretical studies covering, but not limited to, the following areas:

Social Sciences and Humanities: Urban societal transformation, sociology of religion, and community empowerment.

Education and Culture: Innovation in Islamic education, religious moderation, and the preservation of local wisdom (particularly Sundanese culture and Cimahi identity).

Economics and Business: Sharia economics, MSME development, and the economic independence of the community in the digital era.

Science and Technology: Integration of science with Islamic values, appropriate technology for society, and environmental issues.

Law and Politics: Studies of public policy, Islamic law within the framework of the state, and the dynamics of citizenship (civic virtue).

Multidisciplinary Character

An-Nahdlah's uniqueness lies in its interdisciplinary approach. We encourage authors to examine contemporary phenomena by combining the values ​​of Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah An-Nahdliyah with modern scientific methodology. This journal bridges the profound thinking of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) with the dynamic academic traditions of universities.

This journal is published twice a year (June and December) in both print and electronic (OJS) versions.
